WL Quarter Horses

     
 WELCOME to WL Quarter Horses and Training Stables. Home of Larry & Wanda Peterson. We have been raising and training registered Quarter Horses for over 30 years. We are raising quality horses that can be used on the ranch, in the arena or for pleasure. Our goal is to raise horses with good dispositions, good confirmation and the ability to be cowy and athletic. We rope and barrel race ourselves, so we want our horses to have those traits of run, rate and cow sense. Our horses are also used on the ranch, so they need to be very versatile. These horses have the added bonus of color as we are breeding with buckskin and palomino stallions.

Our horses are raised on the ranch, north east of Hanna, Alberta. Currently we have 20 mares and 2 stallions as well as others at various stages of training.

There's no shame in riding a good looking horse !
